The composition is drawn by the very limits and existing alignments, considered as guidelines gifted to us by the place itself.

The envelope is covered in its upper part with larch “shingles” that wrap the volume like a skin, while in the recessed lower part, an infill of vertical slats marks the rhythm between solids and voids.

Compositional simplicity and essential materials are, we believe, fundamental choices for supporting volumetric and formal questions.

The contemporary look should not be seen as an abandonment of tradition, but as an ironic interpretation of it, a “distortion” that preserves it and at the same time negates it.
