The project for the new square is founded on a clear idea: restoring centrality to public space as a place of relation, permanence and possibility.

Within this vision, the stage is not conceived as a permanent architectural structure, but as a minimal spatial sign, able to suggest a use without determining it.

It is a light device, recognisable but not invasive, that does not occupy the space but activates it. A simple geometry — a threshold, an edge, a variation in level or material — that identifies a possible focal point for events, gatherings, performances, yet remains usable and legible even in the absence of an event.

The scenic space thus becomes an integral part of urban everyday life, not an isolated object but an element that dialogues with the context, with the emptiness of the square, with the life that runs through it.

In this direction, the project does not propose a finished form, but an open platform: a square that does not display a single message, but welcomes multiple uses, interpretations and trajectories.
