Infinito Recanati envisions the creation of a unified circuit linking cultural, museum and tourist resources. The overall goal is to promote not the individual museum entity or collection, but the cultural heritage as a whole, as a single diffuse museum to be explored and discovered. The new modes of cultural fulfilment and the widespread tourist hospitality of Recanati, updated to new multimedia and experiential approaches, are the cornerstones of Sistema Museo's ambitious project for Recanati, which involves managing and enhancing public services at the Villa Colloredo Mels museum and exhibition hub, the Torre Civica, the “Beniamino Gigli” Museum, the tourist information office, the Diocesan Museum, the Church of San Vito, the CEA guesthouse of Villa Colloredo Mels, the forthcoming Museum of Music and, prospectively, the future reception and information point in the area beneath the Colle dell’Infinito.

The sites of the Infinito Recanati museum circuit are the subject of major redevelopment works aimed at encouraging innovative modes of public engagement. Immersive multimedia supports, the opening and use of new spaces, cultural and exhibition production activities, and the launch of permanent and innovative educational workshops will all be consistent actions aimed at raising the quality level of the services provided. The planned interventions will also aim to reduce consumption and make optimal use of energy resources. This approach will be implemented through low-energy-consumption systems and the activation of control units inspired by home-automation principles.
