The attic becomes the space of a teenage girl: bedroom, living room and study in a single continuous environment, with a private bathroom alongside.

The slope of the roof is not hidden, it becomes the theme of the project. A continuous oak cladding follows the pitch of the roof and opens into niches lined in sage green. One niche for the sofa with a bookcase built into the seat, another for the bed. The storage units are integrated into the wall, so the centre of the room stays free.

Light comes from the skylights. In the evening a luminous blade along the edge of the cladding highlights the geometry of the roof, and the Y-shaped light fixture follows it in plan.

In the bathroom, tropical floral cladding brings into the attic the green that, in the bedroom, remains only a hint.
