The goal of the new exhibition design for the Museum of the Gilded Bronzes of Pergola is to create an environment that celebrates and enhances the extraordinary artworks on display, rooting itself deeply in the Genius Loci of the Marche region. This approach aims to connect visitors with the history and culture of the territory that has guarded the gilded bronzes for centuries.

The exhibition concept is based on a balance between modernity and tradition, using contrasting materials to create a visual and tactile dialogue.

The use of bronzed metal sheet and coarse matte finishes such as Corten steel reflects this duality, representing at once the elegance of the gilded bronzes and the rustic character of the Marche land.

Within this dichotomy of materials emerges the preciousness of the find and the land from which it has been returned to us.

The resulting exhibition approach follows this physical and conceptual hierarchy, ensuring a coherent and meaningful experience for the visitor.

Also evocative is the concept of the fragment as a guiding thread for the exhibition, recalling the idea of parts coming together to tell a complex and fascinating story.
